1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Tuvybe handles personal data when you use the Tuvybe mobile application, public website, account services, paid digital interactions, safety tools and related services. “Tuvybe” means the entity operating the Tuvybe service.
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you additional rights. This policy is intended to work alongside those mandatory rights, not replace them.
2. Data we collect
We process information you provide, information generated when you use Tuvybe, and limited information received from service providers. This may include:
- account details such as name, username, email address, authentication identifiers and age/date-of-birth information;
- profile details such as biography, gender, interests, languages, relationship goals, country, profile images and other profile fields you choose to provide;
- location information used for nearby discovery and distance calculations;
- device, session, IP address, platform, push-token and security information;
- verification information, including identity-document and selfie evidence when you submit a verification request;
- communications, reports, blocks, safety events and interaction metadata;
- Coin purchases, gifts, paid messages, paid calls, Host earnings, Guardian commissions, withdrawals and related transaction records; and
- support, privacy-request and dispute correspondence.
3. How we use personal data
We use personal data to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, build profiles, operate discovery, enable messaging and calls, process digital purchases, administer Host and Guardian programmes, verify identity, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce policies, respond to support requests, maintain audit trails and comply with applicable law.
Our legal basis may include performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, and compliance with legal obligations, depending on the activity and the law that applies to you.
4. Location & discovery privacy
Location data can be used to calculate distance and nearby discovery. Tuvybe's server-side discovery model keeps stored latitude and longitude out of normal public discovery responses. Nearby/map responses may use rounded coordinates only where the relevant visibility settings allow it.
You can control profile visibility and, where available, whether age, distance, online status, nearby discovery or map visibility is shown. Administrative safety restrictions are separate from your own privacy settings.
5. Identity verification
When you submit identity verification, Tuvybe may process a supported identity document and selfie evidence together with review status and audit information. Verification evidence is intended to be stored in private application storage and is not part of public profile media.
Verification may be required for some roles or features. A submitted or pending verification request does not mean an account is verified; the approved state is the verification state used by Tuvybe.
6. Communications, moderation & safety
Tuvybe processes interaction data needed to deliver messages, calls, gifts and other features and to enforce blocks and account restrictions. Reports create moderation cases and may retain relevant evidence and event history so that safety decisions can be reviewed.
Tuvybe may detect attempted sharing of phone numbers, email addresses, social handles or links in supported communication flows. Where that control is enabled, detected values are designed to be recorded in masked form rather than as raw contact information.
7. Payments, Coins, earnings & withdrawals
Payment and financial records may include transaction references, amount, currency, provider, status, purchase or payout method, ledger entries and fraud/risk signals. Tuvybe may use payment providers to process a purchase or payout; those providers process information under their own notices and legal obligations.
Coin balances for digital interactions are separate from Host earnings and Guardian commissions. Financial records may need to be retained longer than ordinary profile data for reconciliation, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute and legal-compliance purposes.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy and then delete, anonymise or securely isolate it where appropriate. Retention periods vary by data type, including account state, safety history, financial transactions, verification records and legal requirements.
When an account-deletion request is submitted through the current Tuvybe flow, the account is immediately deactivated and active sessions are invalidated. Some records may still be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, financial, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute-resolution or audit purposes.
10. Your choices & privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access to personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You can also manage supported discovery/privacy controls from your account.
For formal privacy requests, use the process on our Privacy Requests page. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may decline or limit a request where permitted or required by law.
11. Security
Tuvybe uses technical and organisational controls intended to protect data, including authenticated sessions, private verification storage, capability restrictions, audited administrative actions and server-side transaction controls. No service can guarantee absolute security, so protect your credentials and report suspected account compromise promptly.
12. International processing
Service providers or infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, Tuvybe should use appropriate contractual, organisational or legal safeguards for cross-border transfers.
13. Adults only
Tuvybe is an 18+ service and is not intended for children. If we learn that an underage person has created an account, we may restrict or remove the account and take appropriate safety steps.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service, law or operational practices change. Tuvybe tracks policy versions for account acceptance. If a new version requires renewed acceptance, the service may ask you to review and accept it before continuing.
15. Privacy contact
Privacy and data-rights enquiries can be sent to privacy@tuvybe.com. General product support can be sent to support@tuvybe.com.
Do not email identity documents, payment credentials or other highly sensitive evidence unless Tuvybe has specifically directed you to an approved secure submission channel.
